Your watchlist, likes and dislikes are stored in this browser’s local storage. We never receive them as a profile.
No account, no ad tech, no selling data. Here’s exactly what happens to what you type and tap.
Your watchlist, likes and dislikes are stored in this browser’s local storage. We never receive them as a profile.
When you search, your request text and a list of film IDs you’ve rated go to our server to compute picks. They aren’t saved.
Export or wipe everything on the Your taste page. Clearing browser data does the same.
If AI interpretation is switched on, your request text is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic) solely to convert it into filters. Only the text of that one request is sent — not your history or taste profile.
To learn whether Flick actually saves you time, we log coarse events — “search”, “saved”, “reroll” — with the film ID or result count. Never your query text, never an identifier tied to you, no third-party trackers or cookies.
